Celebration of Asian American culture and the Lunar New Year

On February 12th, Marcus Meets Malcolm teamed up with the Upper Manhattan Asian American Alliance for a celebration of Asian American culture and the Lunar New Year. We enjoyed performances by members of a seniors dance group and a Harlem martial arts team, alongside creative activities, food and giveaways for kids and adults. Huge thanks to all who participated and to Tressi, Licia and Eva from UMAAA who worked tirelessly over the past 2 weeks to make it such a success. Thanks to all our volunteers, business partners (Krispy Kreme, Crab Du Jour, Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant, just to name a few). We hope this will be the first of many collaborations with UMAAA!
